What it does

The A1525 SOLO brings Total Focusing Method (TFM) phased-array imaging into an ultra-compact, 800-gram handheld body — small enough for one-hand operation in hard-to-reach locations. Its Multi-SAFT image reconstruction technology delivers accurate flaw visualisation with strong spatial resolution, while semiautomatic sensitivity calibration against standard blocks keeps setup fast on site.

Where it's used

  • Manual and semi-mechanised ultrasonic weld testing with B, C and D-scan visualisation.
  • Locating and sizing cracks, inclusions and other discontinuities in metal, plastic and composite objects.
  • 3D reconstruction and quantitative flaw evaluation via INTROVIEW software.
  • Field inspection where a full phased-array rig isn't practical.
