The ZBL-R630A is an electromagnetic-induction rebar detector. As you scan, it locates reinforcing bars in concrete and reports their position, the concrete cover over them and an estimate of bar diameter, and it can build a rebar distribution map during testing. Two detection ranges cover cover depths from 3 mm to 196 mm, and two probes support large-area scanning as well as small or detailed areas.
It detects metal. Cables and metal pipes can also register, so a signal is a prompt to check, not a guarantee that it is a bar. It does not show voids, cracks, honeycombing or the quality or strength of the concrete itself: for those you need an ultrasonic instrument. The detector is direction-sensitive, with the strongest signal when the probe runs parallel to a bar, and the ZBL manual advises resetting about every ten minutes during use.

Figures are as published for the ZBL-R630A by ZBL and its distributors. Bar-diameter accuracy, minimum bar spacing and the exact accessories supplied are not stated in the sources we hold, so they are not shown. We confirm them against ZBL documentation when quoting.

Afroil supplies the ZBL-R630A to order, with delivery to your location. We do not hold local stock, so every purchase starts with a quotation.
Payment arrangements, warranty and manufacturer support terms are confirmed in your quotation, so you see them before you commit.
Reinforcement position, concrete cover over the bars, and an estimate of bar diameter, using electromagnetic induction. It can also build a rebar distribution map while you scan.
Cover is measurable from 3 mm to 196 mm using its second range, with the first range covering 3 to 98 mm. Stated accuracy is ±1 mm at shallow cover and widens to ±4 mm at the deepest part of each range.
No. It locates metal. For concrete quality use an ultrasonic pulse velocity tester such as the A1410 PULSAR or UK1401 SURFER; for imaging see the A1040 MIRA 3D PRO. The rebar scanner vs ultrasonic tester guide explains the difference.
It responds to magnetic and conductive objects, so cables and metal pipes can register. Treat a signal as a prompt to check.
The price depends on your location and what is supplied with the unit, so we quote each order. Send your city and country and we reply with a formal quotation covering price, delivery terms and lead time. Nigeria and Ghana are quoted separately.
No. We supply to order, and the quotation sets out the delivery arrangement.
